Senior Backend/Data Engineer – Driving Telemetry

This is an entry task, We are looking for a Senior Backend/Data Engineer to take ownership of a driving telemetry and session-data pipeline and help scale it toward larger User based. The system collects high-frequency driving telemetry from PC-based driving sessions and currently stores large volumes of raw data in PostgreSQL. Initial scope * Map the current telemetry flow: client application → backend API → PostgreSQL. * Define a clear session lifecycle: start, active session, incomplete session, completed session, exit/crash recovery. * Move full raw telemetry to local session files. * Keep only required session metadata, summaries, KPIs, and references in PostgreSQL. *Preserve compatibility with existing session review and analysis tools. *Prepare a safe production migration plan. *Add basic testing and monitoring. Required experience Python / FastAPI PostgreSQL High-frequency telemetry, IoT, sensor, mobility, or time-series data Session-based data models Production migrations Load testing and monitoring Git / PR workflows Strong advantage: automotive, motorsport, GPS/IMU, vehicle sensors, or simulation telemetry experience. Potential long-term ownership: telemetry architecture, sessions, PostgreSQL/data infrastructure, scaling, monitoring, and production reliability.
