This is a serious, well-scoped project with a detailed engineering specification already in place — we need a skilled backend engineer to help finalize and deliver the remaining work. Due to the sensitive nature of the project, the full technical specification and platform details will only be shared after signing a mutual NDA and non-circumvention / non-compete agreement. We will provide enough technical context in our initial conversation to confirm your fit before any paperwork. ⚠️ Legal agreements required before full project details are disclosed: • Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) • Non-Circumvention / Non-Compete Agreement (We are happy to use a standard template or yours.) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✓ Finalizing and hardening the REST / WebSocket / GraphQL API layer (FastAPI + Python) ✓ Event ingestion pipeline integration (Kafka topics, Flink normalization jobs) ✓ Detection and correlation engine wiring (OpenSearch, Sigma rules, streaming state) ✓ Graph database layer for entity correlation and attack path traversal (Neo4j) ✓ SOAR playbook orchestration via Temporal.io DAG execution ✓ Authentication flows — JWT, OAuth2 / SAML 2.0 multi-tenant setup ✓ Background task handling with Celery + Redis ✓ AI/ML pipeline integration (Python microservices, PyTorch / scikit-learn) ✓ API testing, documentation, and handoff readiness ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ TECH STACK ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • API layer: FastAPI (Python) — REST, WebSocket, GraphQL • Streaming: Apache Kafka + Flink • Storage: ClickHouse, OpenSearch, Neo4j, AWS S3 + Parquet • Cache / Queue: Redis + Celery • Orchestration: Temporal.io • Auth: JWT + OAuth2 / SAML 2.0 • ML runtime: Python, PyTorch, scikit-learn • Cloud: AWS (Secrets Manager, S3) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ IDEAL CANDIDATE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✓ 5+ years of Python backend development; FastAPI or equivalent async framework required ✓ Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures ✓ Experience with at least one of: OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Neo4j, ClickHouse ✓ Comfortable in multi-tenant, security-sensitive environments ✓ Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (SIEM, XDR, SOAR, MITRE ATT&CK) is a strong plus ✓ Clean code habits, thorough documentation, and async/API testing practices ✓ Can sign NDA and non-compete before engagement begins ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ COMPENSATION & ENGAGEMENT MODEL ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Payment is per milestone completed.
