Senior Blockchain Protocol Engineer for DEX Development

I'm looking for a skilled Blockchain Protocol Engineer who will be able to create a decentralized exchange (DEX) starting from scratch. This job demands a person who can make major protocol decisions, critically evaluate the architecture, and produce high-quality smart contracts. Tasks include drafting protocol structure, coding core functionalities, and addressing security, scalability, and maintainability issues over time, etc. It is expected that the engineer will be self-reliant, always coming up with technically valid solutions, and not simply waiting for detailed instructions. Responsibilities: - Design and implement core DEX protocol logic including AMM mechanics, order execution, liquidity pools, fees, and incentive systems - Develop secure, gas-efficient, and well-tested smart contracts - Make architectural decisions related to scalability, performance, and security - Identify and mitigate smart contract risks and attack vectors - Support audits and improve contracts based on audit feedback - Collaborate with frontend developers when needed - Produce clear technical documentation for the protocol Required Qualifications: - Strong experience in blockchain protocol or DeFi development - Advanced Solidity and EVM expertise - Solid understanding of Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains - Prior experience working on DEXs or DeFi protocols - Strong knowledge of smart contract security best practices - Ability to work independently and take full ownership of technical decisions - Clear and professional communication in English Nice to Have: - Experience with Rust or non-EVM blockchains - Production DeFi experience with real users or TVL - Familiarity with formal verification or advanced testing frameworks - Experience working with security auditors - Understanding of tokenomics and governance mechanisms How to Apply: - A brief introduction of your background - Relevant blockchain or DeFi projects such as GitHub links, deployments, or documentation - Your role in those projects - Your availability and preferred engagement type I'm looking for a serious protocol engineer who values security, clean architecture, and long-term sustainability.
