Senior Brand Identity Designer to Refine an Existing Premium Sports Brand Logo

Great brands aren't reinvented—they're refined. I've invested significant time developing the identity for a new athlete development company. The logo is strong, the brand strategy is established, and the overall direction is clear. I'm NOT looking for a complete redesign. Instead, I'm looking for an experienced Brand Identity Designer who enjoys refining existing work and has the ability to identify subtle improvements that elevate a logo from very good to exceptional. If your instinct is to throw everything away and start over, this project probably isn't the right fit. I'm looking for a designer who can professionally evaluate the existing logo and determine where thoughtful improvements can strengthen the brand. Areas to evaluate may include: • Icon proportions • Typography • Kerning & spacing • Balance • Negative space • Scalability • Small-size legibility • Overall polish • Premium brand perception Every recommendation should have a strategic or visual purpose. I'm looking for a designer who knows when NOT to make changes just as much as when to make them. ------------------------------------------------------- SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE When comparing the current logo to your final recommendation, the improvement should feel obvious—but not dramatic. The ideal reaction is: "I can't immediately tell everything that changed, but this version is clearly stronger."
