Senior Creative Strategist for DTC Ads & Creative Testing

We are looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to join our eCommerce team and create high performing ad concepts, hooks, scripts, advertorials, landing page messaging, and creative briefs for our DTC brands. This role is ideal for someone with strong direct-response experience who understands buyer psychology, performance marketing, Meta ads, and what makes creatives convert. This is not a basic content writing role. We need someone who can research winning ads, find strong angles, write persuasive copy, and create ad concepts that are ready for production and testing. Key Responsibilities Your main responsibility will be to write strong direct-response ad concepts, hooks, scripts, advertorial copy, landing page messaging, and creative briefs that can help us test and scale winning creatives. You will be responsible for turning product research, customer pain points, competitor swipes, and performance learnings into strong ad ideas. What You’ll Do * Research winning ads, competitors, customer pain points, and market trends * Create strong ad angles, hooks, scripts, and UGC-style concepts * Write high-converting ad copy, primary text, headlines, captions, and CTA variations * Write advertorial copy, presell page copy, and landing page messaging * Create clear creative briefs for video editors and UGC creators * Build creative concepts based on direct-response principles and buyer psychology * Analyze creative performance and suggest new iterations based on data * Identify new hooks, emotional triggers, formats, and messaging opportunities * Work closely with media buyers, video editors, and the creative team * Make sure all ad concepts are clear, persuasive, and production-ready What We’re Looking For * 3+ years of experience as a Creative Strategist in DTC eCommerce, ideally with 6 to 7 figure brands * Strong hands on copywriting ability across ads, scripts, advertorials, and landing pages * Proven ability to write high-converting direct response copy * Strong understanding of hooks, angles, buyer psychology, UGC ads, Meta ads, and performance marketing * Ability to analyze winning ads and adapt the structure to new products * Experience writing creative briefs for editors and UGC creators * Strong understanding of what makes ad creatives convert on Meta * Experience with supplements, health, wellness, beauty, or consumer products is a strong plus * High standards, strong attention to detail, and fast execution You Are a Great Fit If You: * Can instantly identify strong and weak hooks * Know how to turn customer pain points into strong ad angles * Understand direct-response copywriting and performance creative strategy * Can write scripts that feel native, persuasive, and conversion focused * Are comfortable working with swipes, competitor ads, landing pages, and performance data * Can create multiple strong creative concepts quickly * Care about performance, testing, and improving results This Role Is Not For You If: * You only write basic captions or generic content * You are focused only on brand storytelling and not performance marketing * You give random ad ideas without strong reasoning * You cannot explain why a hook, angle, or script should work * You are not comfortable writing direct-response ads for paid traffic You Should Be Confident Writing: * Hooks * Ad angles * UGC scripts * Primary text * Headlines * CTA variations * Creative briefs * Advertorial copy * Presell page copy * Landing page messaging * Offer messaging * Emotional and conversion-focused copy Work Setup * Full time remote role * Long term opportunity * Clear systems and SOPs provided * You will work closely with our media buying, creative, editing, and strategy teams * Availability overlap with our team will be required Compensation The base salary is $3,000/month. A commission structure is also included and will be discussed during the interview. Commission is tied to creative performance and output quality.
