Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and protection of enterprise IT and operations. The role involves developing and enforcing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in threat analysis and mitigation, and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture. **Must Have** CISSP, CISM, or CCSP • GIAC certifications (GSEC, GCED, GICSP) Any azure or cloud certs Key Responsibilities Security Architecture & Engineering • Design and implement security controls across on‑prem, cloud, hybrid, and OT environments • Own endpoint, network, identity, and application security architecture • Lead zero trust, network segmentation, and least‑privilege initiatives • Evaluate and deploy cybersecurity tools and technologies Operational Technology (OT) & Manufacturing Security • Secure industrial networks (ICS/SCADA/PLC) in partnership with plant teams • Implement IT/OT network segmentation and secure remote access • Develop OT security standards aligned with NIST and IEC/ISA 62443 Threat Detection, Incident Response & Vulnerability Management • Lead monitoring, threat detection, and incident response • Manage vulnerability scanning, remediation, and penetration testing • Develop and test incident response and recovery playbooks Identity, Access & Data Protection • Implement IAM, MFA, PAM, and privileged access controls • Secure service accounts, APIs, and system integrations • Apply data protection controls for sensitive data Governance, Risk & Collaboration • Support audits and risk assessments • Partner with IT, OT, and plant leadership • Mentor junior cybersecurity engineers
