Senior Data Lake Architect / Data Infrastructure Consultant

The selected consultant will not be responsible for implementing the solution. Instead, the consultant will be responsible for translating business and functional requirements into a comprehensive technical design and technical specification. The consultant will work closely with our team to: • Analyse business, functional and technical requirements. • Recommend an appropriate enterprise Data Lake architecture. • Define the overall technical architecture, including logical and physical architecture. • Design the data ingestion framework (batch, streaming and APIs where applicable). • Define the data storage architecture and data lifecycle. • Design metadata management, data cataloguing and data governance components. • Define security architecture, identity and access management, encryption and auditing requirements. • Design data quality, data lineage and master data management considerations. • Recommend suitable technologies (cloud, hybrid or on-premises) based on client requirements. • Produce architecture diagrams and supporting technical documentation. • Develop detailed technical specifications that can later be used for implementation and procurement. • Review and refine the final technical design based on stakeholder feedback.
