JOB TITLE: Senior Database Architect & Continuous QA Gatekeeper (PostgreSQL / PostGIS) JOB DESCRIPTION: Seeking a Senior Database Architect to design a country-agnostic, multi-tenant database layer for our travel marketplace and programmatic SEO platform, and act as Technical Gatekeeper (QA) during the subsequent development phase to prevent AI-generated code degradation. • Total Budget: $2,300 (100% Fixed Price across 6 Milestones) • Project Nature: Hybrid Architecture & Continuous QA (No application coding required) • Tech Stack: PostgreSQL 16 + PostGIS 3.4 (Mandatory), Next.js / Node.js (Application Context) Mandatory Technical Kickoff: 15–30 min live alignment call (CET overlap preferred). Milestone 1 deadline (48h) begins after this call. PHASE 1: INITIAL ARCHITECTURE & BLUEPRINT ($1,500) • Milestone 1 ($350): Core ERD Diagram & Draft Architectural Decision Log (ADL). Deadline: 48 hours from post-kickoff call. • Milestone 2 ($750): Idempotent DDL, Advanced Logic (Views/Triggers), Docker Compose & Seed File. Deadline: 72 hours from M1 approval. Acceptance tests for M2: docker compose up runs without errors; re-run of DDL succeeds idempotently; seed file populates sample rows; ERD matches generated schema. • Milestone 3 ($400): 30-Min Walkthrough & 1-page Developer Screening Kit with complex AI-filtering technical questions. PHASE 2: CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT QA & CODE REVIEWS ($800) • Milestone 4 ($250): Developer Kickoff & Webhook Integrity Review. • Milestone 5 ($250): SEO Routing & Lead Logic Review (blocking N+1 queries & duplicate inserts). • Milestone 6 ($300): Final Production Schema Verification & Trigger Execution Audit. PHASE 2 SLA & LIMITS • SLA Turnaround: Review and respond to database GitHub PRs within 48 hours. • PR Volume & Size: Max 6 PR review cycles in total. Each PR is capped at max 300 lines changed and max 5 modified files. • Fallback Timecap: Total accumulated review and communication time for Phase 2 is capped at an absolute maximum of 10 hours. • General response SLA: Respond to non-PR messages/queries within 24 business hours.
