Summary

We are seeking a senior database automation engineer or small specialist engineering team to design and develop a reusable enterprise automation platform for IBM Db2 environments. The project will cover the full database infrastructure lifecycle, including infrastructure provisioning, operating-system preparation, IBM Db2 installation, instance and database provisioning, configuration management, upgrades and fix packs, HADR deployment, Pacemaker-based high availability, operational health checks, backup and recovery workflows, security/audit automation, testing, documentation, and release preparation. This is not a basic scripting assignment. The expected result is a modular, reusable, documented, and production-oriented automation framework that can later be adapted and deployed for enterprise customers.
