Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong, hands‑on experience operating and scaling Azure‑based SaaS platforms. This is a collaborative, senior‑level role where you’ll take real ownership of infrastructure reliability, deployment pipelines, and operational improvements. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and leadership, helping shape how our platform is deployed, monitored, secured, and scaled in production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys end‑to‑end responsibility from cloud networking through to application hosting, monitoring, and performance optimization. What You’ll Be Doing *Platform Operations* Build, operate, and scale Azure infrastructure supporting a production SaaS platform, including app, infrastructure, and database layers. *CI/CD & Automation* Design, maintain, and improve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, frequent deployments across environments. *Azure Infrastructure* Manage compute, networking, storage, and load balancing with a focus on reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. *Application & Database Support* Support IIS‑hosted applications and Microsoft SQL Server, including deployments, performance tuning, and availability improvements. *Monitoring & Observability* Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics so issues can be detected and resolved quickly. *Reliability & Security* Contribute to security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery planning. Skills & Experience Required - DevOps / SRE experience (6+ years preferred) working in production environments - Strong Azure experience (compute, networking, storage, load balancing) - Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (build, release, automation) - IIS application hosting and troubleshooting - Microsoft SQL Server (deployments, performance, backups, recovery) - Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM) - Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics) - Security & resilience (Azure AD, SSO, HA, DR best practices) Engagement Details - Remote, contract-based role with pathway to move to full-time, permanent - Work directly with senior engineers and leadership
