Senior Ecommerce Checkout & Conversion Optimization Expert

Zager Guitars is a 3rd-generation guitar manufacturer with over 50 years in business and millions of players worldwide. We have historically operated as a heavily PPC-driven company.
 We recently migrated portions of our checkout and payment flow and are looking for a senior ecommerce conversion expert to perform a complete audit of our customer journey, checkout process, tracking setup, and financing/payment flow. This is not a beginner project. We are looking for someone who has personally worked on high-revenue ecommerce stores and understands conversion optimization, checkout psychology, analytics, attribution, and payment systems.

 Current Concerns We recently discovered potential issues involving: * Financing options not clearly displaying terms before purchase * Possible checkout friction * Potential tracking discrepancies * Questions regarding conversion attribution accuracy * Questions regarding payment flow optimization We need an independent expert to determine what is actually happening and provide recommendations based on data, not assumptions.
 Deliverables Phase 1: Audit You will provide: * Complete checkout audit * Complete tracking audit * Complete financing/payment flow audit * Screen-recorded walkthrough of findings * Written report * Prioritized action list ranked by expected revenue impact
 Phase 2: Implementation (Optional) If the audit is strong, we may create a separate Upwork contract for implementation.

Budget Structure This is a fixed-price project. We are not interested in hourly engagements for the audit phase. Phase 1 Audit Budget: $500-$2,000 depending on experience and qualifications. If additional implementation work is needed, that will be discussed separately as another fixed-price project.
