Senior QA Engineer – Biometric Fingerprint Platform

## **Overview** We are looking for a QA Tester to support the testing of a fingerprint registration and identification module integrated. The role involves executing existing test cases, validating functional requirements, reporting defects, performing regression testing, and verifying fixes across web, mobile, and backend components. The tester will work closely with the Product Manager and development team to ensure the quality and reliability of fingerprint enrolment, identification, synchronization, and administrative workflows. ## **Responsibilities** - Execute functional test cases and test scenarios. - Validate fingerprint enrolment and identification workflows. - Test duplicate detection and fingerprint matching functionality. - Validate offline and online synchronization processes. - Test integration between the web application, mobile application, fingerprint scanner, and backend services. - Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing. - Record test results and provide testing evidence. - Log, track, and retest defects using the project defect management process. - Participate in sprint testing and release validation activities. - Report risks, issues, and unexpected system behavior. ## **Required Skills** - Experience in software testing or quality assurance. - Experience executing manual test cases. - Ability to document and reproduce defects clearly. - Understanding of web and mobile application testing. - Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail. ## **Nice to Have** - Experience testing mobile applications. - Experience testing hardware-integrated systems. - Experience testing biometric or fingerprint-based solutions. - Experience with offline synchronization workflows. ## **Deliverables** - Completed test executions. - Defect reports. - Regression testing results. - Test evidence and validation reports. - Release testing feedback and recommendations.
