Senior AI Engineer (Spanish required, long-term)

We're a Spain-based AI and automation consultancy working exclusively with professional services firms: law firms, tax and accounting advisories, and notaries. Every project is applied. We integrate LLMs, agents, and automation into our clients' existing software (MN Program, a3asesor, Lex-ON, Gmail, LexNET and others) so they gain capacity without changing the tools they already use. Current work includes email reading agents, client intake assistants, document generation systems, RAG-based knowledge assistants, and a prospecting pipeline on n8n. The role We're looking for a freelance AI Engineer who can own agent implementations end to end: from the architecture decisions to production. This is not a role for someone who waits for tickets. We need a technical partner who can sit in a discovery call, understand what a law firm actually needs, and design the solution (agents, data flows, retrieval, evaluation). Then build it. If your strength is executing a spec someone else wrote, this isn't the right fit. What you'll do -Turn ambiguous client problems into concrete architectures. -Make the key tradeoffs: framework, models, agent vs deterministic flow, retrieval strategy, cost, latency. -Build and ship the systems yourself. -Integrate LLMs into client workflows via n8n and Python. -Define evaluation criteria and iterate on real usage. Hard requirements -Spanish NATIVE. Non-negotiable. -Solution design ability: you can take a vague business problem and propose a coherent architecture, justify it, and explain it to a non-technical client. -Proven work with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar). -RAG systems shipped to production, not prototypes. -Strong Python and comfort integrating messy third-party APIs. -Autonomous execution from a brief. Nice to have n8n or similar orchestration tools. Document extraction / OCR experience. Legal, fiscal, or professional services background. Cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP). Prior agency or consultancy work. How we work Async by default, with sync kickoffs and reviews in Spanish. Project-based to start, long-term if it clicks. To apply 1.
