Senior Engineer for Transportation of System into Local Environment

This project will be managed in phases. The first phase is a discovery and environment setup phase. We are looking for a senior engineer to help us understand, document, and run an existing platform locally. The platform is built primarily with TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS. Phase 1 objectives: -understand the architecture and major system components -set up and run the application locally -identify infrastructure dependencies and deployment requirements -document the environment setup and deployment process -provide recommendations for next steps We are looking for someone that can: * quickly understand an inherited codebase * run applications locally and troubleshoot environments * document infrastructure and deployment processes Current stack includes: * TypeScript * Node.js / Fastify * AWS * GitHub * SQL databases Strong bonus experience: * DevOps / infrastructure management * Docker * GitHub Actions * Healthcare/HIPAA environments * CI/CD architecture * Working with legacy or inherited systems The next phase of the project will focus on building a safe and efficient AI-assisted development and deployment workflow.
