Senior Full-Stack Developer (NextJS/RN)

Together our mission is to build products that help millions of lives by tackling some of the biggest problems in healthcare and fintech. Our company was founded in 2017 in Irvine, California, and each year since, we have roughly doubled, reaching the $4 million revenue mark last year and raising our first seed fund as well. Due to our expansion, we’re looking for a high-growth Senior Full-Stack Developer ready to transition into their first Lead role. We need a modern architecture enthusiast and AI-augmented power user who is ready to lead our projects and team by example. Responsibilities: - AI Strategy: Lead the team in leveraging AI code generation tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, LLMs) to accelerate development and ship features at record speeds. - Discovery & Estimation: Work closely with PMs and POs to provide technical roadmaps and rapid prototyping estimates. - Technical Architecture: Enforce and evolve the company’s modern stack (React, React Native, Convex, Supabase, Drizzle) across projects. Strategic Problem Solving: Act as the primary technical support for PMs, identifying "hacker" shortcuts and workarounds to overcome roadblocks without sacrificing quality. - Code Quality & Mentorship: Review code for performance, type safety (TypeScript), and maintainability. Mentor developers in adopting AI-augmented workflows. - Scope Management: Manage the project's technical scope and handle deployment communication with DevOps/Vercel/Supabase environments. - Full Stack Execution: Lead by example by building complex features, managing database schemas with Drizzle, and crafting polished UIs with shadcn/ui. Requirements: - 5 to 8 years of experience building production-level web and mobile applications. - Mastery of the Modern Stack: Strong expertise in Next.js (App Router), React, React Native, and Node.js. - Advanced TypeScript: Deep understanding of type-safe development across the entire stack. - Database & ORM: Strong skills in PostgreSQL and hands-on experience with Supabase and Drizzle ORM. - UI/UX Excellence: Expert-level command of TailwindCSS and shadcn/ui (or similar headless UI libraries). - AI-Native Workflow: Proven expertise in using AI tools to significantly reduce development timelines. You should be "AI-first" in your coding approach. - Architectural Vision: Sound understanding of MVC, serverless architectures, and modern design patterns. - Communication: Ability to participate in client calls, simplifying complex technical matters for stakeholders. - The "Hacker" Mentality: An independent drive to "figure things out" and the mental fortitude to handle rapid development cycles and tight deadlines. Bonus Points: - Industry Experience: Previous work with healthcare (HIPAA) or fintech organizations. LLM Integration: Proven experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or LangChain APIs into functional software. - Agency Background: Prior experience working in a fast-paced agency en+vironment. - Cloud Infrastructure: Knowledge of AWS, Vercel, and CI/CD pipelines. - 0 to 6 months experience as Tech Lead.
