Senior Full-Stack Engineer (SaaS Stabilization & Bug Fixing) About Ankor Athletics Ankor Athletics is a sports development platform that helps coaches evaluate athletes, teach skills, build practice plans, and track development over time. Unlike team communication apps, Ankor focuses on the athlete development process: Evaluate → Teach → Practice → Improve The platform is live and actively being used by coaches and athletes. We are preparing for broader rollout before the Fall 2026 season and are looking for an experienced engineer to help stabilize and improve the product. What We Need We are not looking for a CTO, product manager, or startup advisor. We are looking for a hands-on senior engineer who is comfortable jumping into an existing codebase, diagnosing issues, and shipping fixes quickly. The platform is built and working, but we have accumulated a backlog of bugs, workflow issues, and usability improvements that need attention before our September launch. Examples of Current Work Login and authentication issues Password reset bugs User role and permission fixes Parent / athlete onboarding workflows Notification and email issues Evaluation workflow improvements Reporting and dashboard fixes Practice planning and drill library improvements UI cleanup and usability improvements Mobile responsiveness fixes Ideal Candidate You have experience: Working in existing production SaaS applications Fixing bugs and improving reliability Understanding other developers' code React / Next.js applications .NET, Node.js, or modern backend frameworks SQL databases Authentication and role-based permissions API integrations Email and notification systems Bonus: Sports technology EdTech Video-based applications Startup environments What Success Looks Like Within the first 30 days: Understand the codebase Prioritize critical issues Fix launch-blocking bugs Improve stability and user experience Work collaboratively with the existing developer This is not a rebuild project. This is an opportunity to help an existing product reach launch readiness and potentially become a long-term contributor as the platform grows.
