Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer - Golang & Flutter

We are currently seeking a "Senior" Full-Stack Software Engineer with excellent experience in Go/Golang and the ability to also contribute to frontend development using Flutter. This is a full-time role, and we are only considering candidates from specific approved locations/time zones to ensure strong collaboration with the team. About our Company: Grux is an early stage B2B software company building a knowledge management system to help our clients run their businesses. We also provide managed services to our clients, with an emphasis on managed IT services, Google Workspace solutions, custom application development, websites, and other technology services. All of our technology solutions are designed with best security practices in mind, keeping our clients secure and compliant. Grux is based in the US, but our team is global. We work remotely, so all team members must be available when needed to collaborate during 8a-5p Pacific Time (PT). Job Expectations: We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer. As with all engineers at Grux, you’ll be cross-trained across our two core projects, Grux and Rook, and work closely with product, design, and engineering teammates. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building cloud-native systems from the ground up, values clean architecture, and is comfortable owning features end-to-end. Candidates must be available to work full-time and maintain overlap with Pacific Time working hours. What You’ll Do Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native applications Take ownership of backend systems primarily written in Golang, while collaborating on frontend work using Flutter Work across both Grux and Rook, gaining familiarity with all parts of the platform Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and other engineers to ship high-quality features Architect, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Develop and maintain codebases in Golang, Dart, and JavaScript Implement best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and deployments Ensure systems are maintainable, extensible, and secure as the platform grows Requirements 5+ years of professional experience building cloud-native applications Strong professional experience with Go/Golang (Node.js experience is also acceptable) Hands-on experience with Flutter and frontend development Solid understanding of Dart and JavaScript Experience designing and operating systems on Google Cloud Platform Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-moving environment Experience applying best practices for architecture, testing, and deployment Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, remote team Strong communication skills and fluency in English Must be available for full-time work with overlap during Pacific Time business hours Must be located in approved regions/time zones for team collaboration Preferred Qualifications Experience with Google APIs, Chrome Extensions, or Google Chat app integrations Familiarity with function-oriented architectures (a hybrid between services and microservices) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Why Grux Work on meaningful products used by real businesses High ownership and autonomy in an early-stage environment Fully remote team with strong collaboration and communication Opportunity to influence architecture and technical direction If you’re a senior engineer who enjoys building well-designed systems and wants to grow with a small, driven team, we’d love to hear from you.
