Summary

Overview We’re looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist with 8+ years of progressive HR experience to support a variety of project-based HR initiatives. This is not primarily a day-to-day HR administration role. We are looking for someone who has experience building and improving HR programs, frameworks, and processes and can independently take a project from concept through completion. The ideal candidate has broad HR experience with particular strength in compensation, job architecture, performance management, learning & development, and HR documentation. Key Projects & Responsibilities - Create and update job descriptions across departments and levels - Conduct job analysis and help establish consistent roles, responsibilities, and qualifications - Develop career levels and job architecture, including competencies and expectations by level - Support compensation planning, salary benchmarking, compensation bands, and internal equity reviews - Develop frameworks for career progression and promotion criteria - Create and improve performance review evaluations, rating scales, competencies, and manager guidance - Develop performance management tools, templates, and processes - Build training and development programs based on organizational and employee needs - Create structured learning tracks and development paths for different roles and departments - Develop training materials, facilitator guides, exercises, and supporting resources - Draft and update offer letters, promotion letters, compensation letters, exit letters, and other employee documentation - Develop HR templates, SOPs, policies, and process documentation - Support additional HR projects related to talent management, employee development, compensation, and organizational effectiveness - Review existing HR programs and recommend opportunities for improvement What We're Looking For - 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience - Strong HR Generalist background with experience across multiple HR disciplines - Demonstrated experience creating HR programs and frameworks from scratch - Experience developing job descriptions and conducting job/role analysis - Hands-on experience with compensation benchmarking, salary ranges, and compensation planning - Experience developing career leveling frameworks and career paths - Strong background in performance management and performance review design - Experience designing training programs, learning tracks, and employee development initiatives - Strong HR writing skills with experience creating employee letters, templates, policies, and HR documentation - Strong project management and organizational skills - Excellent written communication and attention to detail - Ability to work independently with limited oversight and deliver polished, ready-to-use work Preferred Experience - Experience with several of the following would be particularly valuable: - Job architecture and career leveling - Compensation benchmarking and salary bands - Competency frameworks - Performance management program design - Learning & development program design - Leadership and manager training - Sales or client-facing training programs - HRIS and performance management systems - Multi-state U.S. HR practices - HR process improvement and documentation Ideal Candidate We’re looking for someone who is both strategic and hands-on. You should be comfortable taking a broad objective—such as creating a career framework, redesigning a performance review, or building a training program—and turning it into a practical, well-structured program that can be implemented across the organization. This role will involve multiple HR projects over time, so we're looking for someone who can become a trusted extension of the HR team rather than simply completing isolated administrative tasks.
