Senior Load Testing Specialist Needed

We are seeking a senior load testing specialist to stress test a concert ticketing website before its go-live date. The site is expected to handle 20,000–50,000 concurrent users simultaneously during a live ticket onsale — similar to what happens when a major concert goes on sale at 10am and thousands of fans rush the site at once. You will be responsible for simulating that exact scenario — flooding the site with 20,000 to 50,000 virtual users at the same time — and closely monitoring how the website and server respond under that pressure. Our infrastructure sits behind Cloudflare (CDN, caching, DDoS protection) with a VPS as the origin server. We need an expert who can test both layers — with and without Cloudflare in the path — to identify any bottlenecks, failure points, or weaknesses that could cause the site to go down, slow down, or become inaccessible under peak load. Note: The website is still in the planning and development phase. We are reaching out at this stage intentionally — to find the right specialist early, align on approach, and ensure the infrastructure is built the right way from the start so that when the site is ready, the stress test can proceed without delays. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with high-concurrency spike testing, understands how CDN-fronted infrastructure behaves under load, and can clearly communicate findings to a non-technical audience. Expected output: - Full written report covering what held up, what broke, and why - Clear, actionable suggestions on what to fix or improve before go-live - A short debrief call to walk us through the findings This is a short-term engagement with a defined scope.
