Senior Lucidchart & Lucidspark Expert
Worldwide
We're looking for an experienced **Lucidchart and Lucidspark Subject Matter Expert (SME)** to help us document real-world enterprise workflows used by architects, analysts, and agile teams and enhance our process documentation and collaboration. The role involves creating and refining process maps, swimlane diagrams, and system maps to improve clarity and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in solutions architecture, process analysis, and agile coaching, with a strong understanding of business process management and collaboration tools. This project supports the development of AI-powered workflow automation and requires someone who actively uses Lucid products in production environments—not someone who only knows the features. You'll walk us through how you actually build architecture diagrams, BPMN process maps, and collaborative whiteboards while explaining your thought process, design decisions, and best practices. This is a paid contract with the potential for ongoing work. --- ## What You'll Do * Demonstrate your real-world Lucidchart and Lucidspark workflows. * Build current-state and future-state cloud architecture diagrams. * Create BPMN 2.0 process maps using swimlanes and standard modelling practices. * Show how you organize diagrams using layers, containers, reusable components, and templates. * Demonstrate data-linked diagrams and dynamic documentation workflows. * Explain your reasoning behind modelling decisions and trade-offs. * Walk through Agile ceremonies in Lucidspark, including retrospectives, sprint planning, and story mapping. * Show how Lucid integrates with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise tools. * Answer questions throughout live sessions while sharing practical tips, shortcuts, and common pitfalls. * Complete a detailed workflow questionnaire describing how you approach architecture, process mapping, and collaboration. --- ## Required Experience You should have experience in one or more of the following roles: * Enterprise Solutions Architect * Cloud Solutions Architect * Business Process Analyst * Systems Analyst * Agile Coach * Scrum Master You must have: * 5+ years of hands-on experience using Lucidchart. * Regular experience with Lucidspark. * Experience creating enterprise architecture diagrams. * Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0. * Experience documenting AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes environments. * Ability to clearly explain both *how* and *why* you perform each step. --- ## Nice to Have * ServiceNow or CMDB integrations * Jira and Confluence integrations * Data-linked diagrams * Enterprise architecture frameworks * Business process transformation projects * Cloud migration planning * Stakeholder workshops * Cross-functional collaboration --- ## Deliverables You'll help us capture: * Enterprise architecture workflows * Cloud migration diagrams * BPMN process mapping workflows * Agile collaboration sessions * Stakeholder review and revision process * Decision-making methodology * Best practices and modelling standards * Common mistakes and quality review techniques * Workflow documentation based on your real experience --- ## Initial Paid Task Qualified candidates will first complete a ** intake assignment ** that documents how they use Lucidchart and/or Lucidspark in their day to day work. If it's a good fit, we'll move into a **4–8 week engagement** at approximately **10–15 hours per week**. --- ## To Apply Please answer the following: 1. Which diagramming or whiteboard tools do you use regularly, and how does each fit into your workflow? 2. Walk us through the last architecture diagram or BPMN process map you built in Lucidchart. What libraries, notation, layers, or integrations did you use? What changed after stakeholder review? 3. Do you currently use Lucidchart, Lucidspark, or both? 4. Briefly describe the most complex enterprise architecture, business process, or Agile facilitation project you've completed using Lucid. 5. Are you available to participate in live screen-sharing sessions where you demonstrate your normal workflow and answer questions as you work? --- ## Engagement Details * Remote * Contract * 10–15 hours per week * Initial paid onboarding task * Opportunity for ongoing collaboration * Flexible schedule with occasional live meetings We're looking for experienced professionals who use Lucid every day and can clearly explain the judgement behind their work—not just demonstrate software features. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
