Summary

We are seeking a senior mechanical engineer to design a removable retail shelf tray with an integrated product-pusher and locking mechanism for retail store gondola shelves. This project involves a robot tool that must unlock the tray, pull it off the shelf, return it, and automatically lock it back into place. The design should be simple, reliable, easy to manufacture, and tolerant of small alignment errors. Ideal candidates will have experience with injection-molded plastics, latches, drawer mechanisms, retail fixtures, product dispensers, and design for manufacturing. Please share examples of relevant mechanisms or molded products you have designed.
