Senior Multifamily Investment Analyst & Underwriter

Job Overview: We are a Texas-based Multifamily Syndication firm seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to support our deal review process. We have a consistent pipeline of opportunities and existing assets in Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. We are not looking for a data entry specialist. We have junior staff to handle T12/Rent Roll inputs. We are looking for a high-level analytical partner to review models, stress-test assumptions, and provide "investment committee" level feedback on deal viability. Scope of Work: * Deal Review (Acquisitions): Audit financial models created by junior staff. Identify errors, challenge assumptions (rent growth, exit caps, expenses), and flag risks that do not align with market realities. * Due Diligence Support: Formulate technical questions for brokers regarding discrepancies in financial statements (e.g., specific line-item variances in T12 vs. OM). * Asset Performance Analysis: During periods of lower deal flow, analyze our existing portfolio financials to benchmark operating expenses, identify trends, and spot opportunities for NOI improvement. Requirements: * 5+ years of experience in Multifamily Underwriting or Asset Management. * Deep understanding of Value-Add syndication structures. * Ability to "tell the story" behind the numbers—spotting patterns in T12s that indicate management issues or hidden risks. * Availability to communicate during US business hours.
