Senior .NET Developer Needed for Windows Integration Service, Desktop App & Installer

We're seeking an experienced Windows/.NET engineer to build a production-ready integration product from an existing specification. The application will consist of: A background Windows service that polls customer SQL Server databases on a configurable schedule Processing and forwarding collected data to a remote REST API A desktop application for health monitoring, status visibility, and configuration management An MSI installer with a guided setup experience for customer deployment This is an execution-focused engagement. The architecture and requirements are largely defined, and we're looking for an engineer who can implement cleanly, identify ambiguities early, ask thoughtful questions, and deliver a polished product ready for production use. Required Experience C# / .NET (latest versions preferred) Windows Services development SQL Server integration REST APIs and HTTP clients Desktop applications (WPF preferred, WinForms acceptable) MSI packaging and installer creation Logging, diagnostics, and error handling Experience delivering installable software for customer environments What We're Looking For Strong engineering discipline and attention to detail Ability to work independently against a specification Clear communication and proactive problem-solving Focus on maintainability, reliability, and user experience When applying, please include: Relevant Windows/.NET projects you've shipped Experience building Windows services and desktop applications Examples of installer technologies you've used (WiX, Advanced Installer, etc.) Any experience with customer-deployed enterprise software We're looking for someone who can own execution and help ship a reliable, installable product with minimal supervision.
