Senior Next.js Developer (AI-Assisted) — Build a Finished Design System Into a Production Site
Worldwide
We're a physician-led digital psychiatry platform. Our website design is already 100% done: a fully locked design system plus ~53 finished, self-contained HTML mockups covering every page. This is NOT a design project. Our in-house designer handles all template rendering and image assets in Figma — you focus purely on building clean production Next.js code. THE APPROACH (please read — it's the whole efficiency play) Our pages are all assembled from one shared block library, so we want to build library-first, not page-by-page: Build the shared component library once (~15 reusable React/Next components), validated against 3-4 exemplar pages until pixel-locked. Bind variable data (pricing, credentials, state availability) to a single config source — never hard-coded. Assemble every remaining page straight from the finished HTML mockups. Drop in the rendered images and template assets our designer provides — no design or Figma work lands on you. We fully expect and encourage heavy use of AI coding tools (Claude, Kimi, Cursor, Copilot — your choice). We care about speed, correctness, and clean output. HOW WE'LL WORK TOGETHER Our designer owns the visual/template rendering and image-asset production (Figma). You own the Next.js implementation — turning the finished mockups and his rendered assets into clean, reusable, responsive code. We need you to build fast and faithfully. SCOPE 50+ finished page mockups, but only ~8 underlying templates (most pages reuse the same skeleton with swapped content). Full breakdown in the attached PDF. STACK Next.js (App Router) + TypeScript + Tailwind. Responsive, WCAG AA, static (motion-free by design). IMPORTANT This is medically reviewed, compliance-sensitive copy. All body text must be transcribed exactly as written in the mockups — do not rewrite or let AI regenerate patient-facing wording. Code is yours to optimize; the words are not. TO APPLY, PLEASE INCLUDE 2-3 Next.js sites you've built (component-driven, multi-page, responsive) Your AI-assisted workflow — which tools and how you keep output clean Your honest read on the library-first approach above — would you build it this way? A rough estimate: time to build the component library + exemplars, then assemble the full set Your rate and availability over the next few weeks Full project brief attached (PDF).
