Senior Outbound Campaign Operator (Contract / Fractional) About Us Blackridge Acquisitions is a performance-based outbound growth partner helping founder-led B2B service businesses generate qualified sales conversations through intelligent outbound campaigns. We're growing quickly and are looking for an experienced operator who has recently delivered results through cold email and LinkedIn outreach. Initially this is a flexible contract role, with the potential for ongoing work as we scale. Starting with a few hours a week and growing with client intake. The Role You'll work directly with the founder to review, optimise and execute outbound campaigns for our clients. This is not a junior VA role. We're looking for someone who understands the entire outbound engine, from targeting through to booked meetings. You should be comfortable identifying what's broken, recommending changes and implementing improvements quickly. Responsibilities Campaign Strategy & Review: Review ICPs and targeting criteria. Assess prospect lists and segmentation. Identify opportunities to improve targeting quality. Advise on messaging strategy and sequencing. Email Campaign Execution: Build and optimise campaigns in Smartlead. Set up sequences and automations. Monitor performance. Diagnose underperforming campaigns. Make recommendations based on data. Deliverability: Advise on mailbox setup and warming. Monitor sender reputation. Identify deliverability issues. Recommend best practices. Ensure campaigns are operating safely. LinkedIn Support: Advise on LinkedIn sequencing. Review connection and follow-up messaging. Support multi-channel campaign strategy. Performance Optimisation: Review campaign metrics. Identify bottlenecks. Suggest tests and improvements. Document learnings and recommendations. Tech Stack Experience with the following is strongly preferred: Essential: Smartlead Apollo.io LinkedIn Sales Navigator Google Workspace Calendly Highly Desirable: Zapier Hubspot Airtable Slack Tally Clay Instantly Smartlead API integrations Email infrastructure tools (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) What Success Looks Like Within the first 30 days, you will: Review and provide recommendations on live campaigns. Help identify improvements to targeting and messaging. Support optimization of active client accounts. Increase confidence in campaign execution through practical recommendations and implementation support. Longer term, you'll become a trusted extension of the Blackridge team as we scale. Who We're Looking For You have: 2+ years of hands-on outbound experience. Recent experience generating meetings through cold email. Experience working with founder-led B2B businesses. Strong understanding of deliverability. The ability to diagnose problems quickly. Excellent written English. A bias towards action. Commercial awareness. You are: Calm under pressure.
