Senior PCB Layout Engineer – High-Speed FPGA Board (Altium, 24-Layer HDI)

No Agencies!!! We need an experienced PCB layout engineer to complete placement and routing on a complex, high-speed digital/RF board in Altium Designer. Project overview: The board includes dual FPGAs, high-speed ADC/DAC devices (GSPS-class), DDR4 memory, an RF front-end with several controlled-impedance lines, and a dense multi-rail power delivery network — all on a 24-layer HDI stackup. Major ICs and key nets/classes/design rules are already defined; the remaining work covers component placement (~1,200+ passives and secondary ICs), critical high-speed routing (DDR4 flyby, inter-FPGA buses, ADC/DAC differential pairs), general/power routing, and DRC cleanup. Required skills: - Proven experience in Altium Designer (own license required) - Strong background in high-speed digital PCB layout — DDR3/DDR4 routing, length/delay matching, flyby topology - Experience with HDI stackups (microvias, staggered/stacked vias) - Comfortable setting up and tuning design rules for differential pairs, impedance control, and length matching - Familiarity with FPGA-based designs (Xilinx/AMD or similar) and dense BGA placement - Basic RF layout awareness (controlled impedance, connector/balun placement) is a plus - Strong communication skills and ability to work to a defined schedule Project details: - Full schematic and PCB source files provided after hire - Looking for someone who can start promptly and commit meaningful weekly hours - Please share examples of past high-speed/HDI layout work in your proposal
