Senior PHP Laravel Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Laravel Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable web applications while contributing to architecture decisions and mentoring junior developers. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep Laravel expertise, strong database skills, API development experience, and a solid understanding of modern software development practices. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP and Laravel. Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. Optimize application performance, database queries, and server resources. Review code and enforce development best practices. Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in architecture planning and technical decision-making. Implement security best practices and application monitoring. Mentor junior and mid-level developers. Required Skills 5+ years of professional PHP development experience. 4+ years of hands-on Laravel experience. Strong knowledge of MySQL database design and optimization. Experience building and consuming REST APIs. Solid understanding of MVC architecture and software design patterns. Experience with Git and modern development workflows. Knowledge of queue systems, caching, and background jobs. Experience working with Linux servers. Strong debugging and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications Experience with React, Vue.js, or Next.js. Experience with Docker and containerized environments. Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, or cloud infrastructure. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of automated testing and quality assurance practices. Experience working on SaaS products and multi-tenant applications.
