About Us Tilton Coffered Ceilings is a leading U.S. manufacturer of premium architectural products, including faux wood beams, real wood beams, coffered ceilings, ceiling planks, wall planks, trusses, and decorative building materials. We sell directly to homeowners, builders, contractors, architects, and designers throughout the United States via our e-commerce website. Our business is built around one critical metric: **Sample orders.** The vast majority of our large product purchases begin with a customer ordering one or more samples. If we increase qualified sample orders, we increase overall revenue. We're looking for an experienced performance marketer who understands that relationship and knows how to scale it. --- Why We're Hiring Approximately three months ago, we transitioned to a new marketing team to manage our paid advertising. Unfortunately, despite maintaining our advertising investment, our sample sales have declined rather than improved. We are now looking for an experienced marketing professional to take ownership of our paid advertising strategy and drive measurable growth. This is not a position for someone who simply manages campaigns. We're looking for someone who analyzes data, identifies opportunities, challenges assumptions, continuously tests new ideas, and makes strategic decisions with confidence. If you're waiting for us to tell you what to do, this is not the right opportunity. --- What You'll Own You will be responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving our paid customer acquisition strategy. Our immediate priorities are: * Google Ads * Meta (Facebook & Instagram) As performance improves, we expect to expand into additional advertising platforms where they can generate profitable revenue, including but not limited to: * Microsoft Ads * Pinterest Ads * TikTok Ads * Reddit Ads * YouTube Ads * LinkedIn Ads (when appropriate) * Other paid advertising platforms that you recommend We are looking for someone who can determine where our ideal customers are most likely to convert—not someone who simply spends budget because a platform exists. --- Responsibilities You will be responsible for: * Managing and optimizing Google Ads, Google Shopping, Performance Max, Search, Display, and Meta campaigns. * Developing a long-term paid advertising strategy across multiple platforms. * Increasing qualified sample orders while maintaining profitable acquisition costs. * Identifying new customer acquisition opportunities. * Performing ongoing A/B testing of audiences, creatives, landing pages, messaging, and offers. * Reviewing historical sales and advertising data to identify trends and opportunities. * Monitoring competitor advertising and identifying market opportunities. * Making strategic recommendations based on data—not assumptions. * Providing weekly performance reports that explain not only what happened, but why it happened and what should happen next. * Collaborating with our development team when website improvements could increase conversions. * Recommending new advertising channels and testing strategies as our business grows. --- The Type of Person We're Looking For We are looking for someone who thinks like a business owner. Someone who says: **"Based on the data, here's what I recommend we change, here's why, and here's how we'll measure success."** The ideal candidate: * Has extensive experience managing Google Ads and Meta campaigns for e-commerce businesses. * Has managed significant advertising budgets with measurable results. * Understands customer psychology and online buying behavior. * Makes decisions based on analytics and testing—not opinions. * Is proactive and constantly looking for opportunities to improve performance. * Is comfortable challenging existing strategies when the data supports it. * Has experience scaling online businesses through paid advertising. * Communicates clearly and professionally. * Takes ownership of results. --- Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by business results—not activity. Our primary KPI is increasing qualified sample orders because they lead directly to larger purchases. Additional success metrics include: * Increased monthly sample orders * Lower cost per acquisition (CPA) * Higher return on ad spend (ROAS) * Increased conversion rate * Increased monthly revenue * Higher customer lifetime value * Continuous improvement through structured testing * Identification of new profitable advertising channels We will provide historical sales and advertising data so you can understand previous performance and identify opportunities for growth. Our expectation is simple: Improve upon our historical performance. --- Required Experience Please apply only if you have: * Proven success managing Google Ads for e-commerce businesses. * Proven Meta advertising experience. * Experience scaling online sales through paid advertising. * Strong understanding of Google Analytics, conversion tracking, attribution, and reporting. * Experience managing advertising budgets with measurable ROI. * Strong analytical and communication skills. * Excellent English communication. Bonus experience: * Microsoft Ads * Pinterest Ads * TikTok Ads * Reddit Ads * Shopify or WooCommerce * Heat mapping tools (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, etc.) * Landing page optimization * Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) --- Compensation We are open to either hourly or fixed monthly pricing for the right candidate. We are looking for a long-term partner—not simply a freelancer completing individual tasks. After successfully working with us for **three months**, you will become eligible for a performance-based incentive. Once our monthly company revenue exceeds **$150,000**, you will participate in a revenue-sharing incentive based on the additional revenue your marketing efforts help generate.
