Senior Performance Video Editor — AI/DR ads for scaling US DTC health brand

Hiring a full-time performance video editor to own ad creative for a fast-scaling US DTC health brand. Path to 8 figures, primary growth channel is Meta, creative output is currently our bottleneck. This isn't a "make pretty videos" role. It's a direct-response, conversion-first seat — fast tests, fast iteration, ruthless focus on what actually converts. What you'll do: — Cut 6–8 batches per week from briefs — Iterate fast on what's winning, kill what's not — Work directly with copywriters on DR concepts — Use AI-video tools alongside traditional UGC editing workflows — Keep source files clean and organized — Run a weekly analysis on your ads' performance Must already be strong at: — CapCut, Premiere, After Effects — DTC ad editing (not YouTube, not cinematic) — UGC + direct-response formats — AI video tools: Veo3, Sora, HeyGen, Higgsfield, Runway — A big plus if you are an AI specialist Non-negotiables: — Fast and responsive — communication is the #1 thing — Reliable on deadlines, no chasing — Organized with files and process — Coachable under direct, no-fluff feedback — Comfortable in a high-accountability environment — Willing to try anything to get a win Not for people who need chasing. Not for people who freeze when we pivot mid-week to chase a winner. We care more about speed, reliability, and ownership than years of experience. Compensation: $2,000-$3000/month base (depends on industry experience) + uncapped performance bonus on winning ads.
