The Role We are looking for a Senior Product Architect & QA Lead to work directly with the founder and become one of the most important members of the SkillTrust team. You will own the quality, clarity, usability, and consistency of the entire platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that every feature: Makes sense Works correctly Is properly documented Is easy to use Is aligned with the SkillTrust vision This role sits between: Product Strategy UX Design Software Development Quality Assurance Documentation User Experience You will help transform ideas into detailed specifications that developers can build with confidence. Your Responsibilities Product Architecture & Feature Definition You will: Convert ideas into detailed product requirements Define workflows and business logic Create user stories Create acceptance criteria Define permissions and access rules Identify edge cases Define success metrics Example: Instead of: "Users can request a verification" You will define: Who can request? Eligibility requirements Pricing logic Approval workflow Notifications Failure scenarios Expiration rules Reporting requirements User Journey Design Design and maintain end-to-end journeys for: Talent Journey Signup → Profile Creation → Career Capital Development → Verification → Job Matching → Employment Partner Journey Signup → Approval → Program Creation → Talent Recruitment → Training Delivery → Outcome Tracking Employer Journey Signup → Talent Search → Verification Review → Hiring → Performance Feedback Assessor Journey Approval → Assignment → Assessment → Verification → Reporting Government Journey National Oversight → Workforce Intelligence → Policy Action → Reporting Quality Assurance & Testing You will own product quality. Responsibilities include: Functional Testing Does it work? Workflow Testing Does the process work? Edge Case Testing What happens when: User uploads invalid documents? User abandons onboarding? Assessor rejects verification? Partner exceeds capacity? Subscription expires? Regression Testing Did a new release break existing functionality? Product Documentation Create and maintain: Internal Documentation Product Specifications Workflow Diagrams Feature Requirements Business Rules User Permissions Release Notes External Documentation User Guides Help Articles FAQs Onboarding Documentation Learn More Pages Knowledge Base Content UX Review & Design Support Review all platform interfaces and ensure: Clear navigation Logical workflows Consistent language Clean user experience Strong information hierarchy You do not need to be a senior UI designer, but you must have strong UX instincts. Bonus if you can: Create wireframes Design icons Build low-fidelity prototypes Work inside Figma Product Governance Maintain the SkillTrust Product Bible. This includes: Dashboard inventory Feature inventory User journeys Product requirements Platform standards Naming conventions Release documentation Release Management Before features go live: Requirements reviewed Design reviewed Development validated Testing completed Documentation completed You will act as the final quality gate before release.
