Senior Product Business Analyst (Fintech / SaaS)

Genieum is a fintech startup building a global trade credit platform. We are seeking a highly capable Senior Product Business Analyst to help accelerate product delivery and support a growing development team. The successful candidate will work directly with the Founder, CTO, Product Team and Engineering Team to transform business concepts into high-quality requirements, workflows, user stories and implementation-ready documentation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment where product design, commercial thinking and detailed requirements all matter. We are looking for somebody capable of becoming a trusted extension of the product team and helping increase delivery velocity without sacrificing quality. Current Environment The platform includes: Trade credit workflows Payments Member onboarding KYC / KYB Risk scoring CRM integration AI-assisted engagement Communications platform Learning platform Reporting and analytics The role will initially focus on a growing backlog of high-value product initiatives already identified by management. Responsibilities Requirements & Analysis Gather and refine requirements Challenge assumptions Identify gaps and dependencies Produce implementation-ready specifications Document business rules Product Design Design workflows Prepare process maps Assist with UX thinking Define acceptance criteria Create user stories Delivery Support Work closely with developers Clarify requirements Assist with prioritisation Participate in sprint planning Help reduce rework and ambiguity Documentation Functional specifications User stories Acceptance criteria Workflow diagrams Product documentation Ideal Experience We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in: Fintech B2B SaaS Payments Financial Services Banking Treasury Credit Risk Compliance Experience in regulated environments is highly desirable.
