Senior Product Designer

Part-Time Senior Product Designer (Remote, US Preferred) We're looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our small, fast-moving team on a part-time basis. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering to design AI-powered products and complex workflows for homeowners, real estate agents, contractors, and internal operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll help shape products from discovery through launch. Responsibilities • Design end-to-end product experiences, from discovery and user flows to high-fidelity UI and developer handoff. • Simplify complex business workflows into intuitive, scalable user experiences. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces in Figma. • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to define solutions and iterate quickly. • Contribute to and evolve our design system across multiple products. • Leverage AI to accelerate research, ideation, UX writing, and rapid prototyping. Requirements • Senior-level product design experience with a proven track record of shipping real products. • Startup or small team experience, comfortable owning projects with minimal direction. • Strong product thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make thoughtful tradeoffs. • Experience designing complex B2B SaaS products, workflow-heavy applications, dashboards, or data-dense interfaces. • A portfolio with detailed, real-world case studies that clearly demonstrate: o Complex SaaS workflows o Data-dense interfaces o End-to-end product thinking o Clear storytelling from problem → process → outcome • Deep proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout, interactive prototyping, and • building scalable design systems. • Ability to work primarily within California (Pacific Time) business hours or maintain significant working hours overlap with the team. • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. Bonus Points • Experience incorporating AI into your design workflow using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar for research, ideation, UX writing, rapid prototyping, or AI-assisted front-end prototyping("vibe coding"). • Experience building or maintaining design systems based on Shadcn UI or other component libraries. • Familiarity with design-to-code workflows and collaborating closely with front-end engineers. • Experience in proptech, fintech, mortgage, CRM, or other complex operational software.
