# Senior React/TypeScript Developer to Convert Vibe-Coded Website Into Production Site ## Project Overview We are looking for an experienced **full-stack React/TypeScript developer** to take an existing vibe-coded website and convert it into a stable, professionally developed, production-ready website. The website has already been designed and substantially built. The branding, layouts, copy, service pages, residential estimate process, booking flow, pricing logic, commercial quote form, deposit process, and confirmation pages are already established. This is **not a website redesign**. We need a developer who can audit the existing code, preserve the approved customer experience, rebuild or refactor unstable areas, connect the website forms to our business-management system, complete testing, and prepare the site for public launch. The current website uses **React, TypeScript, and Vite**. ## Main Project Goals The developer will be responsible for: * Auditing the existing website and codebase. * Identifying unstable, duplicated, incomplete, or poorly structured code. * Refactoring or rebuilding components where necessary. * Preserving the current design, branding, content, pricing rules, and customer journey. * Making the website fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. * Resolving TypeScript, React, JSX, Vite, and production-build errors. * Improving performance, reliability, code organization, and maintainability. * Connecting all customer-facing forms to Customer Factor. * Completing production deployment and technical handoff documentation. ## Existing Website Features The website currently includes: * Residential service pages. * Commercial quote-request page. * Residential instant-estimate calculator. * Conditional service selections. * Pricing calculations based on property and service details. * Minimum-service pricing rules. * New-customer and multi-service discounts. * Customer information and property-detail forms. * Preferred service-date selections. * Booking-policy acceptance. * $50 booking deposit. * Square payment processing. * Booking confirmation page. * Printable or downloadable estimate and booking summary. * Privacy policy and website disclosures. * Mobile-responsive layouts and navigation. The approved pricing and calculation logic must be preserved unless a technical correction is approved in advance. ## Customer Factor Integration Customer Factor will be our primary customer-management and operational system. The website’s online forms must connect reliably to Customer Factor so customer and service-request information can be transferred into our existing system. Form submissions may include: * First and last name. * Phone number and email address. * Residential or commercial customer designation. * Company name for commercial customers. * Service address. * Property details. * Requested services. * Service quantities and selections. * Calculated estimate information. * Discounts and final estimated pricing. * Preferred service dates. * Customer notes. * Booking-policy acceptance. * Deposit and payment status. * Submission date and source. The developer must review Customer Factor’s supported integration options and recommend the most reliable implementation method. This may involve an available API, webhook, Zapier, supported import process, email-based workflow, or another approved integration method. Please do not assume that a specific Customer Factor integration method is available without verifying it during the technical audit. The completed integration should include: * Required-field validation. * Duplicate-record prevention where technically possible. * Clear submission confirmations. * Error handling. * Failed-submission alerts. * Submission logging or an audit trail. * Protection against partial or lost submissions. * A backup notification method if Customer Factor does not receive the submission. We are **not requesting a GoHighLevel CRM integration** for this project. ## Payment and Booking Requirements The website currently includes a Square-powered booking deposit. The developer should verify and test: * Successful payments. * Declined or failed payments. * Duplicate-payment prevention. * Payment confirmation. * Correct deposit amount. * Payment-status transfer with the customer submission. * Confirmation-page details. * Error messages and recovery instructions. * Secure handling of payment-related information. The website should not store sensitive payment-card information directly. ## Testing Requirements Before launch, the developer must complete and document testing for: * Desktop, tablet, and mobile responsiveness. * Chrome, Safari, Edge, and common mobile browsers. * Navigation, buttons, links, and calls to action. * Residential estimate calculations. * Minimum pricing, add-ons, quantities, and discounts. * Conditional service-selection logic. * Required fields and form validation. * Residential form submissions. * Commercial form submissions. * Customer Factor data transfer. * Duplicate and failed-submission handling. * Square deposit payments. * Booking-policy acceptance. * Confirmation-page information. * Printable or downloadable summaries. * Production build and deployment. * Page speed and basic technical performance. * Error monitoring after launch. A staging version must be provided for final testing and approval before the live website is changed. ## Required Experience Applicants should have proven experience with: * React. * TypeScript. * JavaScript. * Vite. * Full-stack web development. * Refactoring AI-generated or prototype code. * Complex online forms. * Conditional pricing calculators. * API and third-party integrations. * Webhooks and automation platforms. * Payment gateway integrations. * Square payment processing. * Responsive web development. * Form validation and error handling. * GitHub or another version-control system. * Production hosting and deployment. * Cross-browser and mobile testing. Experience with **Customer Factor**, Zapier, field-service software, booking systems, or service-business websites is strongly preferred. ## What We Are Looking For We need someone who: * Understands the difference between a prototype and production-ready software. * Can work within an approved design without making unnecessary visual changes. * Writes clean, organized, maintainable code. * Can evaluate an unfamiliar third-party system before promising an integration. * Tests calculations and workflows thoroughly. * Communicates technical issues in understandable language. * Identifies risks before launch. * Provides realistic recommendations instead of automatically rebuilding everything. * Can document the finished system for future developers. ## Expected Deliverables The final deliverables will include: 1. Complete technical audit of the current website and codebase. 2. Written list of issues, risks, and recommended corrections. 3. Confirmed integration plan for Customer Factor. 4. Refactored or rebuilt production-ready website. 5. Fully functioning residential and commercial forms. 6. Reliable Customer Factor submission workflow. 7. Tested estimate and pricing calculations. 8. Tested Square deposit process. 9. Submission validation, alerts, and logging. 10. Responsive testing across devices and browsers. 11. Staging website for final review. 12. Production deployment to our live domain. 13. Complete source code and version-control access. 14. Technical documentation and handoff instructions. 15. Post-launch correction period for issues related to the completed work. ## Proposed Milestones ### Milestone 1: Technical Audit and Integration Assessment Review the current codebase, website functionality, hosting structure, Customer Factor capabilities, Square setup, and production requirements. Deliver a written assessment, recommended architecture, confirmed scope, timeline, and fixed-price proposal for the remaining work. ### Milestone 2: Code Refactoring and Website Development Clean up or rebuild unstable portions of the website while preserving the approved design, content, calculations, and customer journey. ### Milestone 3: Forms, Customer Factor, and Payment Integration Complete the online forms, Customer Factor submission process, Square payment workflow, validation, error handling, alerts, and submission logging. ### Milestone 4: Staging and Quality Assurance Deploy the completed website to a staging environment and perform full testing across devices, browsers, calculations, forms, payments, and integrations. ### Milestone 5: Production Launch and Handoff Connect the live domain, complete final production testing, provide documentation and source-code access, and resolve launch-related issues. We prefer a **fixed-price project divided into milestones**, with the final development cost confirmed after the technical audit. ## How to Apply Please include the following in your proposal: * Examples of React and TypeScript websites you have taken from prototype to production. * Examples of calculators, booking systems, conditional forms, or payment workflows you have developed. * Your experience refactoring AI-generated or vibe-coded applications. * Your experience integrating websites with CRM or field-service platforms. * Your experience with Square, APIs, webhooks, and Zapier. * How you would evaluate the available Customer Factor integration options. * How you test pricing calculations and prevent lost or duplicate form submissions. * Your recommended hosting and deployment approach. * Your availability and estimated timeline. * Whether you provide a post-launch warranty or correction period. Please begin your proposal with the phrase: **“Production Website Review”** Generic proposals that do not address the existing React/TypeScript codebase, Customer Factor connection, estimate calculator, booking process, and Square payment workflow will not be considered. **Category:** Full Stack Development **Skills:** React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Full-Stack Development, API Integration, Web Form Development, Third-Party Integration, Payment Gateway Integration, Code Refactoring, and Software Testing.
