Senior SEO strategist

We are looking for a Senior SEO Content Strategist with proven experience in UAE marketplaces or large classified platforms. The ideal candidate has experience building SEO content strategies for marketplaces such as Dubizzle, Bayut, OpenSooq, Noon, Property Finder, Cars24 UAE or similar platforms. This role is responsible for building Shozon’s entire content strategy for English and Arabic. ⸻ Responsibilities 1. Full Content Audit Review every existing Shozon article and identify: Duplicate content Keyword cannibalization Topic overlap Thin content Outdated content Weak internal linking Poor content structure Low-value pages AI-generated or low-quality content Missing SEO opportunities Content that should be merged Content that should be updated Content that should be removed ⸻ 2. Keyword Research Conduct comprehensive keyword research for UAE search behavior in both: English Arabic Across all Shozon categories: Cars Property Jobs Classifieds Electronics Services Community ⸻ 3. Content Strategy Develop a scalable content strategy that: avoids duplicate topics avoids keyword cannibalization prevents overlap with existing articles builds topical authority prioritizes high-value keywords supports long-term organic growth ⸻ 4. Content Roadmap Create a rolling content roadmap including: article topics priority level search intent target keyword supporting keywords publishing order update schedule ⸻ 5. Content Briefs Prepare detailed SEO briefs for English and Arabic writers. Each brief should include: Title URL slug Primary keyword Secondary keywords Search intent Outline (H1/H2/H3) Internal linking recommendations Meta title Meta description FAQ suggestions Schema recommendations CTA recommendations ⸻ 6. Quality Control Review every article before publication. Ensure: factual accuracy SEO quality natural writing originality no duplication compliance with strategy ⸻ 7. Existing Content Optimization Recommend improvements for existing articles, including: rewriting merging redirecting updating improving internal links improving topical clusters ⸻ 8. No new content should be planned without first ensuring there is no duplication, topic overlap, or keyword cannibalization with existing articles.
