Senior SharePoint Developer | Build End-to-End Operations & CRM Platform for Engineering Firm

We are a forensic engineering consulting firm looking to replace our current manual processes with a custom business operations platform built within Microsoft 365 using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, AI services, and related technologies. This is not a simple SharePoint site or basic CRM. We need a complete operations management platform that manages our business from assignment intake through final report delivery and invoicing. The platform should include: CRM for insurance carriers, adjusters, attorneys, contractors, and referral sources Assignment intake with automatic project number generation AI-powered parsing of incoming assignment emails to automatically extract claim information and populate new assignments Engineer assignment and scheduling Calendar and travel management Workflow automation using Power Automate Dropbox integration with automatic project folder creation and archiving Report workflow and approval routing Peer review and Professional Engineer review tracking Dashboard reporting and analytics Mobile access for field engineers QuickBooks integration for invoicing and payment tracking Business development tracking and follow-up reminders User permissions based on employee roles AI Functionality Artificial intelligence is an important part of this project. We want to automate repetitive administrative tasks wherever possible, including: Parsing assignment emails and attachments to automatically populate project fields Reading claim documents and extracting relevant information Assisting with scheduling and workflow automation Generating the first draft of engineering reports from engineer inspection transcripts, dictated notes, photographs, and report templates Creating task summaries and management notifications Reducing manual data entry throughout the assignment lifecycle The licensed engineer will always review, edit, approve, and sign the final report. AI will only assist in preparing the initial draft and administrative workflows. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who has built complete Microsoft 365 business systems using SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI integrations. Experience with any of the following is highly desirable: Microsoft Copilot Azure AI Services Azure OpenAI OpenAI API Power Platform AI Builder Microsoft Graph API SharePoint Online Microsoft Lists Power Apps Power Automate QuickBooks integrations Dropbox API integrations Experience building solutions for engineering, construction, insurance, consulting, or field service companies is a significant advantage.
