Senior Software Engineer

We are building a SaaS-based Legaltech software intended for businesses. The platform includes workflow approvals, document handling, audit trails, dashboards, notifications, role-based access controls etc. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead who can take ownership of the technical architecture, product stabilization, deployment readiness, and engineering quality of the platform. This is not a basic feature-development role. We need someone who can help transform an existing product into a stable, secure, production-ready SaaS application. Responsibilities Review and improve existing system architecture Design scalable SaaS backend architecture Ensure clean, maintainable, production-grade code Implement and improve: -authentication & authorization -RBAC/permissions -workflow systems -audit logging -document handling/storage -notifications -API architecture Improve performance, stability, and scalability Conduct code reviews and engineering oversight Establish testing standards and QA processes Identify and eliminate security vulnerabilities Prepare product for production deployment Configure and optimize AWS infrastructure Build CI/CD and deployment pipelines Create technical documentation where required Guide junior developers Required Skills Backend -Java -Spring Boot -REST API development -PostgreSQL Frontend -Next.js Infrastructure / DevOps -AWS -Docker -CI/CD pipelines -Linux server management Architecture Experience -Multi-tenant SaaS systems -Secure authentication systems -RBAC / access control systems -Workflow-based applications -Document management systems -Audit trails and activity logging Important Requirements We are specifically looking for engineers with: -strong production experience -architectural thinking -security awareness -attention to long-term maintainability -experience handling real business applications This role is NOT suitable for: junior developers tutorial-based developers short-term feature coders experimental/hobby developers Deliverables The selected engineer will be expected to help ensure that the platform becomes: stable secure scalable maintainable deployment-ready commercially usable Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a major advantage: Legal-tech platforms Enterprise SaaS products Contract management systems Workflow automation systems Compliance-heavy applications Engagement Structure Part-time remote engagement Flexible working arrangement Long-term engagement possible based on performance To Apply Please include: 1.Relevant SaaS projects you have worked on 2.Your role in those projects 3.Experience with architecture decisions 4.Experience with AWS deployments 5.Experience with testing and security 6.Links to GitHub, portfolio, and case studies 7.Brief explanation of how you would approach stabilizing an existing SaaS platform All source code, architecture, workflows, documentation, and related deliverables will remain exclusive property of the company.
