Protecting those rankings is non-negotiable. We are not looking for someone to reinvent our business. We're looking for an experienced SEO strategist and WordPress expert who can help us dominate every valuable FOD-related keyword while preserving everything that already works. Responsibilities include: Advanced keyword research and competitive analysis Identifying low-competition, high-value ranking opportunities Building topical authority through content clusters Writing high-quality, technically accurate SEO blog articles Publishing and formatting articles within WordPress Creating SEO landing pages Creating product pages for new products Optimizing titles, headings, metadata, schema, images, and internal linking Continuously identifying opportunities to improve rankings Monitoring keyword performance and recommending new content opportunities Recommending technical SEO improvements Helping our website become the definitive authority in our niche Every article should have a purpose. Not simply to rank. But to become the best resource on the internet for that topic while naturally driving qualified visitors toward our products and educational resources. What We Already Have Covered We already have another team member creating: Professional PDF guides Downloadable resources Checklists Forms Educational documents Technical reference material Your responsibility is creating the SEO strategy and content that drives people to those resources while increasing our organic visibility. WordPress Experience Is Required You must be comfortable working directly inside WordPress. This includes: Creating pages Creating blog posts Creating product pages Formatting long-form content Uploading and optimizing images Internal linking Organizing categories Basic website updates Working with SEO plugins such as Rank Math or Yoast Basic technical troubleshooting We're looking for someone who executes—not someone who simply provides recommendations. What You Will NOT Change This is extremely important. Our existing business has successfully ranked for our primary keywords for over 10 years. Because of that, you are not being hired to redesign or rebuild our website. Without prior approval, you will not: Rewrite existing core product pages Change existing URLs Change site structure Change navigation Change categories Remove existing content Make sweeping SEO changes to pages that already perform well Your job is to build around our existing success—not risk it. If you believe changes to existing high-performing pages would improve rankings, we'll review and approve those changes together before anything is implemented. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone with proven expertise in: Technical SEO Topical Authority Semantic SEO Content Clusters Internal Linking Google Search Console Ahrefs and/or Semrush On-Page SEO Schema Markup WordPress User Search Intent EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness & Trustworthiness) Experience in aviation, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, engineering, safety, OSHA, FAA, military, or technical B2B industries is a major advantage.
