Senior Twilio Developer (Voice, SMS, Phone Routing & Transcription)

- Project Overview We're looking for an experienced Twilio Developer to build and optimize a scalable communication platform using Twilio. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing production-grade voice and messaging systems with a strong understanding of Twilio's APIs and infrastructure. This project involves implementing intelligent call routing, SMS/chat messaging, call recording, transcription, and scalable telephony architecture capable of handling growing traffic. - Responsibilities 1. Design and implement Twilio Voice solutions using Twilio Programmable Voice. 2. Configure and manage Twilio Phone Numbers across multiple regions. 3. Build intelligent inbound and outbound call routing workflows. 4. Develop IVR, call forwarding, queues, and failover routing. 5. Integrate SMS and chat messaging using Twilio Messaging APIs. 6. Configure call recording, secure storage, and automated transcription. 7. Build webhook-driven services for voice and messaging events. 8. Optimize latency, reliability, and high availability. 9. Monitor usage, call quality, and system performance. 10. Implement security best practices for communications and customer data. 11. Document architecture and deployment procedures.
