Senior Web Developer / Web Ops (WordPress, Shopify, Framer) Real-Time Support, EST Hours

We’re looking for a high-level web developer who can function as our on-demand web operator - someone who can jump into any environment, figure things out quickly, and execute without hand-holding. This is not a narrow role. We need someone who can handle everything web-related, from small fixes to deeper technical issues, across multiple platforms. Think of this as: “Anything breaks, needs updating, or needs optimizing - you handle it.” You must be available during EST business hours and operate with a strong sense of urgency. Speed, reliability, and ownership matter more than anything. What You’ll Be Responsible For: 1. Ongoing Site Maintenance & Fixes Troubleshoot and resolve bugs quickly Fix 404 errors, broken links, and routing issues Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks Debug layout or responsiveness issues across devices 2. Front-End + UX Adjustments Make real-time UI updates (spacing, layout, styling) Resize and optimize images for performance Ensure consistency across pages and platforms Improve page speed without breaking design 3. Media Optimization Compress and optimize videos for web Ensure videos autoplay/loop correctly across devices Optimize GIFs or replace with better-performing formats Balance quality vs performance 4. Platform-Specific Work WordPress: theme edits, plugin troubleshooting, customizations Shopify: theme updates, liquid edits, app integrations, product page fixes Framer: layout adjustments, animations, responsiveness fixes Bonus: Webflow, headless CMS, or custom builds 5. Light Back-End / Technical Work Make code-level updates (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Work within existing codebases without breaking things Understand hosting environments and basic server configs Handle integrations, scripts, tracking pixels, etc. 6.
