Senior Webflow Designer/Developer (Systems Thinker, Not Just a Builder)
Worldwide
I’m looking for a senior-level Webflow designer/developer to help finish and clean up an existing build for a premium pool/hot tub business website. This is not a “design from scratch” project. The site is already mostly built and approved. We’re in the final 20% where the difference between average and expert matters most: - responsive cleanup - systems/structure - CMS organization - polish and consistency - optimization - making everything work properly without breaking what already exists I’ve taken the project as far as I can personally, but I’m at the edge of my expertise and need someone who can confidently take over the technical side and finish it properly. I move fast, manage a lot at once, and I’m looking for someone calm, highly competent, independent, and easy to work with long-term. This is not a full-time role. This is more of a: “become my go-to Webflow operator when needed” relationship. If you’re great, I will continue sending projects and work your way over time. Current Project Scope The current build includes: - custom-designed hot tub browse pages - custom hot tub product pages - CMS collections - Finsweet filtering systems - forms - service pages - standard Home, About, Contact pages e-commerce functionality What still needs work: - responsive cleanup across desktop/mobile/tablet/etc. - improving and organizing existing class - structure/style systems - CMS organization - additional Finsweet filters without hurting UX/UI making forms more organized for internal teams - improving consistency across the site - building a cleaner “browse all products” experience for e-commerce products (chemicals, pumps, supplies, etc.) - overall QA, optimization, and polish There are also 50+ hot tubs/products that will eventually need to be added into the CMS, however this role is NOT responsible for bulk CMS entry/data population. I’ll have assistants/VA support handling content entry. Your responsibility is making sure the structure, systems, templates, organization, and overall implementation are clean, scalable, and easy for non-technical people to use correctly. Timeline I need to move quickly on this. The goal is to have the site cleaned up, finalized, and ready to launch within roughly 2 weeks. I’m not expecting rushed or sloppy work, but I am looking for someone who can move efficiently, communicate consistently, and maintain momentum without constant supervision. If your workload is currently overloaded or you move very slowly, this isn’t the right fit. What I’m Looking For You should be: - extremely fluent in Webflow - experienced with large/complex builds - experienced with Finsweet and advanced CMS structures - calm and methodical - highly organized - independent - strong at problem solving - responsive during reasonable EST working hours - able to clearly explain systems and decisions - able to improve existing work without over engineering it Bonus points if you understand: - landing pages - Meta ads - conversion-focused design - tracking systems - UTMs - Google Ads / Meta integrations The ideal person understands that: simple is better than clever. I care far more about: - clarity - function - maintainability - speed - systems than flashy animations or overcomplicated interactions. Important This is NOT a fit if you: - overengineer things - disappear for days - need constant direction - get defensive with feedback - prioritize aesthetics over functionality - break existing systems while trying to “improve” them - communicate poorly - are not fluent in English I want someone who can: - identify problems - present solutions/recommendations - execute independently - reduce chaos, not create more of it If you bring a problem, bring a recommendation. Communication & Working Style I’m founder-led, collaborative, calm, and high-standard. I don’t micromanage. I want someone I can trust to own their lane, communicate clearly, and move projects forward without needing constant input. Daily updates are important. I value people who: think in systems communicate clearly take ownership make life easier for everyone around them To Apply Please send: 1. Relevant Webflow portfolio examples (especially conversion-focused or larger builds) 2. Any examples using Finsweet or advanced CMS systems 3. A short Loom walkthrough (optional but highly preferred) 4. A brief explanation of how you typically structure larger Webflow projects 5. Your hourly/project rate 6. Your timezone and availability To help filter out generic applications, please start your proposal with: “Simple scales.” I’m not looking for the cheapest option. I’m looking for someone experienced enough to do this properly, efficiently, and without creating more problems later.
