Summary

We are a law office looking for a senior WordPress developer with proven Breakdance Builder experience to migrate our existing website from Elementor to Breakdance. This is not a simple page-builder redesign. We need someone who understands WordPress, Breakdance, technical SEO, structured data/schema, Core Web Vitals, Google Search Console, on-page SEO, and law-firm/local SEO. The website must preserve or improve our current SEO structure during the migration. We also want the rebuilt site aligned with current Google Search Essentials, Google structured data guidelines, and Google’s May 2026 guidance around generative AI Search, AI Overviews, AI Mode, and crawlable, helpful, people-first content. Required experience You must have direct experience with: WordPress development. Breakdance Builder. Migrating sites from Elementor to Breakdance or another lighter WordPress builder. Technical SEO migrations. JSON-LD structured data/schema. Google Search Console. PageSpeed Insights/Core Web Vitals. Local SEO for service businesses. On-page SEO for service pages and blog content. Responsive mobile-first design. Law firm, medical, financial, or other YMYL websites preferred. Project scope The work will include: Pre-migration SEO audit. Crawl/export of current URLs, titles, meta descriptions, H1s, headings, schema, internal links, images, and indexation status. Migration from Elementor to Breakdance. Rebuild of page templates, global styles, headers, footers, service pages, attorney/about pages, blog templates, and contact/conversion elements. Preserve current URLs where possible. Create a redirect map for any changed URLs. Implement proper canonical tags, metadata, headings, internal linking, breadcrumbs, sitemap, and robots.txt review. Implement or clean up JSON-LD schema, including appropriate law-office/local-business schema, organization schema, breadcrumb schema, article/blog schema, and attorney/author connections where appropriate. Avoid outdated or unsupported SEO tactics, including overuse of FAQ schema, doorway pages, keyword stuffing, duplicate city pages, fake reviews, hidden text, or AI-generated mass content. Improve site performance, image handling, responsive layouts, accessibility basics, and Core Web Vitals. Verify pages with Google Search Console, Rich Results Test, PageSpeed Insights, and a final crawl before launch. Provide a written launch checklist and post-launch monitoring plan. Important law-firm SEO requirements Because this is a law office website, we need strong trust signals and careful handling of legal content. The site should clearly show attorney credentials, practice areas, jurisdictions served, office location, contact information, disclaimers where needed, author/reviewer information for legal content, and updated/reviewed dates where appropriate. You will not be responsible for giving legal advice or writing legal conclusions. Legal content will be reviewed by our office. Deliverables Please include the following in your proposal: Two to three Breakdance websites you personally built or rebuilt. At least one example of a migration from Elementor or another builder. One example where you implemented schema/structured data. One example where you improved technical SEO or Core Web Vitals. Your process for preventing SEO loss during a website migration. Your preferred SEO plugins/tools. Your availability and hourly rate. The phrase “Breakdance law firm migration” at the top of your proposal so I know you read the full post. Screening task Before hiring, I may ask shortlisted candidates to review one page of our current website and provide a brief migration-risk assessment. This should include SEO risks, schema issues, performance issues, and recommended first steps. We are looking for a careful, detail-oriented expert, not someone who only knows how to drag and drop pages.
