Senior E-commerce Growth Strategist for DTC Brand

We are looking for a senior e-commerce growth strategist to help us review the current performance of our established U.S. DTC brand and build a practical growth plan. Our company operates in the holster / EDC / tactical accessories space, with the U.S. as our primary market. We are not looking for a junior media buyer or someone who will only suggest “run more ads.” We need an experienced person who can step back, look at the full business picture, analyze the data, understand the market, and help us identify where the real growth opportunities are. What we need help with: * Review current sales performance vs. last year * Analyze key e-commerce metrics: revenue, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, MER, retention, product performance, channel mix, etc. * Understand what is happening in the U.S. market and competitive landscape * Identify whether the issue is related to demand, traffic, conversion, pricing, product mix, promotions, acquisition efficiency, SEO dependency, or broader market trends * Help us build a clear and actionable recovery plan * Prioritize initiatives by impact, effort, and speed of execution * Challenge our current assumptions and provide an outside perspective Ideal profile: * Strong experience with U.S. e-commerce / DTC brands * Ideally experience in EDC, tactical gear, outdoor, hunting, firearms accessories, or similar male-focused performance categories * Senior-level strategic thinking, not just execution * Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, email/SMS, CRO, and performance marketing metrics * Able to work with data and turn insights into clear business actions * Experience creating growth, turnaround, or recovery plans for e-commerce brands * Comfortable giving direct, honest feedback Expected deliverables: 1. Audit of current business performance and main issues 2. Competitive and market overview 3. Key growth opportunities and risks 4. Recovery plan for the next 30 / 60 / 90 days 5. Prioritized action list with expected impact 6. Optional: follow-up advisory calls to support execution We will provide access to relevant reports, performance data, website information, and internal context.
