Senior developer code review and trainer

Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Lead / Mentor I am looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who can serve as a technical lead, coach, and mentor for my junior developer. This role isn’t just about coding. I need someone with extensive experience in web application development, databases, APIs, Agile/Scrum methodologies, AI-assisted development, and modern agentic workflows who can help elevate both our codebase and our team. You will work directly with my junior developer and our small remote development team 6 to 16 hours per week. We can offer flexible scheduling between 9am to 5:30pm EST. (m-F) Your mission is simple: - Improve code quality. - Increase development velocity. - Establish engineering standards. - Introduce modern tools and best practices. - Help transform my junior developer into a high-performing senior engineer. You should be comfortable: • Reviewing code and architecture • Coaching and mentoring developers • Holding developers accountable to standards • Improving development workflows • Leveraging AI-assisted development tools • Identifying technical debt and performance bottlenecks Current Technology Stack: • C# • ASP.NET • JavaScript • Bootstrap • Dashio • Azure • GitHub (Copilot) • MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL • Xamarin / MAUI • Claude Code • Codex • Co-Work and other agentic development tools English required. Spanish is a plus.
