Senior iOS Engineer for Fintech App

About the Opportunity We’re building a next-generation investment platform designed specifically for the Gulf region. The product combines local and global markets into a single mobile experience, giving users access to stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, commodities, and professionally managed portfolios. We’re looking for a Senior/Lead iOS Engineer to become one of the first engineering hires and play a key role in shaping the product, architecture, and engineering culture from the ground up. What You’ll Do * Lead development of a native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI. * Own technical architecture and make key engineering decisions. * Build elegant, high-performance mobile experiences with a strong focus on user experience. * Design and implement scalable features including onboarding, portfolios, watchlists, market data, payments, and trading workflows. * Collaborate closely with founders, designers, and backend engineers. * Establish engineering standards, testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes. * Mentor future iOS engineers as the team grows. * Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions. Requirements Must Have * 7+ years of professional iOS development experience. * Strong expertise in Swift and SwiftUI. * Experience building and shipping production-grade iOS applications. * Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or TCA. * Experience integrating REST APIs and real-time data services. * Strong understanding of performance optimization, concurrency, and memory management. * Experience with automated testing and modern development workflows. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have * Experience in fintech, trading, investing, banking, payments, or cryptocurrency products. * Experience building charting, portfolio, or market-data applications. * Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time systems. * Experience with authentication, security, biometrics, and regulated applications. * Startup or founding engineer experience.
