# Senior Developer Needed – Shiji POS Integration & Custom Payment Extension ## Project Overview We are looking for an experienced software developer to build a custom integration with the Shiji POS platform for the hospitality industry. Our solution allows hotel guests to charge purchases directly to their room by scanning their room key card. We require a seamless POS workflow that integrates with our backend platform. ## Scope of Work ### 1. Custom Payment Button inside Shiji POS Develop a custom payment button within the Shiji POS interface. When staff selects this payment method: * A custom web extension or embedded web application should open. * Relevant order information should be passed from the POS to the extension. * The extension should provide a text input field where data from an NFC card reader can be entered automatically. ### 2. Backend Communication The extension must: * Send the entered card identifier together with order information to our backend API. * Receive a success or failure response. * Display clear feedback to the POS operator. Examples: * Room found → Success * Room not found → Error * Backend unavailable → Error ### 3. Order Data Transfer The integration must be capable of retrieving and sending: * Order ID * Transaction amount * Table number (if available) * POS location * Timestamp * Any other available transaction metadata This data must be transmitted alongside the card identifier entered in the extension. ### 4. Documentation Deliverables should include: * Complete source code * Installation instructions * Deployment documentation * API documentation * Architecture overview ## Required Experience Please only apply if you have experience with: * POS integrations * Hospitality software * REST APIs * JavaScript / TypeScript * Web Extensions * Electron applications (optional) * Shiji POS APIs and SDKs (strong preference) ## Application Requirements Please include: 1.
