Shopify Bookkeeper: QuickBooks + A2X Setup, Cleanup & Weekly Updates (Non-US Single-Member LLC)

Job Type: Fixed-Price (Initial Setup & Cleanup starting August 1, 2026) moving into a Monthly Retainer ($350 – $500/mo) Job Description: We are looking for an experienced e-commerce bookkeeper to set up our financial infrastructure from scratch, handle historical reconciliation starting from August 1, 2026, and provide ongoing weekly/monthly updates. Our business is a Single-Member US LLC owned by a non-US founder. We currently generate ~$200k/month in Shopify revenue. We need clean, double-entry accrual accounting to track our true net margin down to the cent. Scope of Work: QuickBooks Online Setup: Set up a clean Chart of Accounts tailored for a Single-Member US LLC owned by a non-resident alien (correctly separating Owner's Capital and Owner's Draws). A2X Integration: Connect and configure A2X to sync our Shopify store payouts directly into QuickBooks Online. Set up mapping for gross sales, refunds, discounts, merchant fees (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Stripe), sales tax, and inventory/COGS. Historical Cleanup & Reconciliation: Categorize, reconcile, and balance all bank, credit card, and payment processor transactions from August 1, 2026, to present. Ongoing Cadence: Weekly: Quick spot-checks of automated A2X syncs and bank feeds with a brief health update. Monthly: Full bank/credit card reconciliation, accrual COGS adjustment, and delivery of a clean P&L and Balance Sheet by the 10th of the month. Required Qualifications: Advanced experience with QuickBooks Online and A2X for Shopify. Explicit experience handling US Single-Member LLCs owned by non-US residents (understands foreign owner draws, disregarded entity structures, and preparing clean books for year-round tax readiness). Deep understanding of e-commerce accrual accounting, clearing accounts, processor fee breakdowns, and landed cost COGS adjustments.
