Shopify CRO Expert Needed to Audit & Optimize Store for Higher Conversions

About the Project ​We run an established Shopify store in the Apparell niche. While we are successfully driving consistent traffic to our site via Meta Ads / TikTok / SEO our current conversion rate is hovering around CR1.5%, and our add-to-cart abandonment is higher than we’d like. ​We are looking for a data-driven Shopify CRO Specialist to audit our current setup, identify friction points in the user journey, and implement strategic optimizations to boost our Conversion Rate (CR) and Average Order Value (AOV). ​Scope of Work & Responsibilities ​Comprehensive CRO Audit: Analyze our store's layout, mobile responsiveness, page load speeds, checkout flow, and overall user experience (UX). ​Data-Driven Insights: Utilize tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Hotjar/Clarity (heatmaps/session recordings), and Shopify Analytics to pinpoint drop-off zones. ​A/B Testing & Implementation: Formulate hypotheses, set up A/B tests, and directly implement (or guide our developer to implement) winning changes to product pages, cart pages, and checkout flows. ​Copy & Offer Optimization: Review and optimize product descriptions, call-to-actions (CTAs), social proof placement, and upsell/cross-sell strategies. ​Required Skills & Experience ​Proven track record of successfully increasing conversion rates specifically for Shopify/Shopify Plus stores. ​Deep understanding of e-commerce UX/UI best practices (especially for mobile commerce). ​Proficiency with analytics and heatmapping tools (GA4, Hotjar, Lucky Orange, Microsoft Clarity, etc.). ​Experience running A/B tests using tools like Intelligems, Kameleoon, or VWO. ​Strong communication skills and the ability to explain data insights clearly.
