E-Commerce Manager - Covering Shopify store, CRO& listings Management

About Us Home Garden Direct is a growing e-commerce business specialising in home and garden products. We sell through our own Shopify website as well as major third-party platforms including Wayfair, The Range, and B&Q. We are looking for a hands-on Shopify & E-Commerce Manager to take ownership of our online presence and help drive growth across both our website and marketplace channels. The Role This role has two core focuses: 1) Shopify Website Management & Optimisation (CRO Focus) Manage and maintain our Shopify store on a day-to-day basis Update banners, homepage content, and collections Create and upload new product listings, including writing descriptions Continuously improve the website’s design, layout, and user experience Analyse and improve conversion rates (CRO) Identify opportunities to improve performance, usability, and customer journey 2) Marketplace & Product Listing Management Replicate and optimise product listings across third-party platforms (Wayfair, The Range, B&Q, etc.) Ensure consistency of product data, pricing, and branding across channels Upload new products and manage existing listings Work to improve listing quality and performance on each platform What We’re Looking For Strong experience with Shopify (essential) Proven experience in e-commerce, ideally managing a store end-to-end Understanding of CRO and how to improve website performance Experience listing products on marketplaces (Wayfair, Amazon, B&Q, etc. desirable) Good copywriting skills for product descriptions High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple products and platforms Proactive mindset — someone who looks for ways to improve, not just maintain REQUIRMENTS 1) This role is full time, we would like proposals to include a your monthly pay requirement based on a 40 hour week. 2) We need to know what country your in, so we can understated what working hours our UK team will be able to contact/meet with you. 3) When you submit your proposal, pls include examples of shopify stores you have developed/partly developed and let us know what parts of the website are the areas you worked on.
