Shopify UI/UX Designer & Developer – Conversion & Visual Optimization for "Adorn" Theme

Project Overview: We are looking for a sharp Shopify UI/UX Designer with solid frontend development skills (Liquid/CSS) to optimize our existing Shopify store. We run Auravé, a premium Ayurvedic + Chinese botanical skincare brand, and our flagship product is the Bakuchi Glow Elixir. We are not looking for a comprehensive re-platform or a completely new theme build. We currently use the Adorn theme and want to maximize its potential. The goal is to refine the current user flow, elevate the "Quiet Luxury" minimalist visual appeal, and eliminate friction points on our Homepage and Product Detail Page (PDP) within our existing setup. Key Objectives: Optimize Within the Adorn Theme: Audit our current utilization of the Adorn theme. Rearrange, tweak, and polish existing theme sections to improve storytelling, readability, and conversion flow. Elevate Visual Polish: Fine-tune typography hierarchies, padding/white space, and image layouts to ensure a seamless luxury aesthetic. Enhance the Hero Product Funnel (Bakuchi Glow Elixir): Optimize the PDP to beautifully balance clean aesthetic minimalism with high-converting elements (ingredient education, botanical benefits, visual proof, and clear CTA placement). Mobile-First Flow Refinement: Over 80% of our traffic is mobile. Ensure the theme’s mobile behavior is flawless, fast, and intuitive, cutting down on excessive scrolling and clutter. Minor Custom Liquid/CSS (If Needed): Implement minor custom styling adjustments only where the native theme limits us from achieving the necessary premium look or conversion lift. Deliverables Required: A quick visual audit and recommendations report based on our current Adorn theme setup. High-fidelity mockups (Figma or direct dev staging) showing proposed structural/flow changes. Direct implementation and testing of approved layout modifications on our Shopify store (via a theme duplicate). What We Are Looking For: Proven experience working with premium Shopify OS 2.0 themes (experience specifically with the Adorn theme or similar luxury/editorial themes is a massive plus). Strong UI/UX design eye paired with clean Shopify frontend execution (Liquid, CSS, HTML). Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) for premium beauty/wellness brands—knowing how to sell a high-end product without cheapening the brand.
