Shopify Developer & Landing Page Builder

We're a DTC brand looking for an expert Shopify developer to help us through a multi-phase project. You'll work closely with our marketing team, so clear communication is just as important as strong technical skills. Phase 1 -- Site Audit Conduct a thorough QA and audit of our current Shopify setup. This includes theme code quality, page speed, UX issues, conversion bottlenecks, and any existing technical debt. We want a clear findings doc with prioritized recommendations coming out of this phase. Phase 2 -- Theme Migration & Redesign Lead a full theme-to-theme migration and website redesign within Shopify. You'll own the build end-to-end -- scoping, development, QA, and handoff. Landing page builds for paid traffic are part of this scope. Phase 3 -- Testing & Ongoing Optimization Set up and run A/B tests, evaluate results, and make data-backed recommendations. We need someone who can own the testing roadmap, not just execute tests we hand them. What we need from you: 6+ years of Shopify development experience with DTC brands Strong Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript skills Proven experience with theme-to-theme migrations Hands-on A/B testing experience (Shogun, VWO, Intelligems, or similar) Comfortable with analytics tools -- GA4, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or Shopify analytics Able to work collaboratively with a non-technical marketing team To apply, please include: 2-3 Shopify store examples you've built or migrated At least one A/B test you ran and what you learned from it Your preferred testing tools and why This is a medium-to-large scope project.
